Recently I was on my way to work, at around 3:30 am, listening to my favorite radio talk show on WGN radio (720am), The Steve and Johnnie show. Over the years i have become a fond listener and have learn a lot about them and their regular and semi-regular guests. on this particular morning i heard that one of the regular guests , Bob Young, a song writer and guitarist, was going to be preforming with a local band at The Village Tavern of Long Grove. No cover. Just asking for a donation of non-perishable food for the Lake County food pantry.
Well, I packed Dorothy in the car and we went to the 8:30 show and what a night it was. We had a Front table seating and had a couple of appetizers and drinks and totally enjoyed the evening. They took pictures of the people that were in attendance that were WGN listeners. Dorothy wouldn't go up there with me so i was right in the center of the pic surrounded by 2 rather attractive sisters.
