Memorial Day

Port Washington Wisconsin

Well with the coming of Memorial day the summer season has begun. Vacation time will soon be arriving and rest and relaxation. We decided to get a little preview of what a vacation might be like with a one day excursion to Port Washington Wisconsin and a visit to one of our favoite hobbies, viewing lighthouses. Warm and sunny it was an ideal day as these pictures will show.

After a nice breakfast we were on our way to walking it off as we set-out for the first light. It was almost a quarter mile each way. The up the hill to see St. Mary's Light which is a working restoration of the original lighthouse.

A Visit with Mike and Tanya and the Girls
On the way home we stopped to visit with Mike and family at their new summer home, Racine Harbor. His boat is the one somewhere near the middle with the flag on the back. And of course i think you know the rest of the cast of characters.

New and exciting numbers were reached at the Remshak residence. Double digits for both my lovable Grandchildren. They are 10 and 13. These have managed to please two young ladies and also make Grandma and Grandpa feel a little bit older. there was one excited teenager (I think she thought it would never get there). Lexi is always a smiling excited bubbly girl. Get visit with all the friends and relatives also.
