Califonia weather

California Rain

We knew that this would happen sooner or later. But California could have keep there rain for as long as they liked. It is raining this morning but the temperature is a balmy 43 degrees and the snow is melting and the roof is leaking. The recent freezing fog gave us some very beautiful ice covered trees. Spring will be here soon. Prichers and catchers report at the end of February.

Oh, and connect to Ele's blog from here for recent videos.

A New Year----2010

2010

Happy New Year---2010. The holidays are ovr and we sure wish they had lasted a lot longer. The entire family was once again in Illinois for Christmas. another one that we will truly remember. All the granddaughters are growing up faster then we can realize. Ele, Maggie Isabelle and Delaney have grown so much and are a fantastic pleasure to be with. We just wish we could see them more often.

Natalie and Nicole, now 6 years old have begun school and are smarter then their grand dad already, they are also a real handful, as I am sure Mike and Tanya will attest.

Then of course there is Alexis the fantastic nine year old cheerleader and budding gymnast. Alyssa, our band member (flute), is looking forward to her birthday this year. 13 is a milestone that i'm sure Sue and Mark just can't wait for and the following 6 years.

The Village is still up. I'm trying to see how long before Dorothy insists it comes down. If I had my way it would stay up all year, but then it wouldn't have any excitement for the grand kids.
