CALIFORNIA VISIT

A Double Dose of Beauty

Vacation time is always wonderful but it is even more wonderful when you can spend it with family and friends. It is even more special when you get to see one of your newest grand daughters. California is great, but seeing Delaney for the first time was even more beautiful. It was hard going home but we know that we have these memories and pictures to hold us over till the next time.

I took this video so we would have something to watch till we can start vidoe chatting as she becomes more active and talkative.




During our visit we did manage a trip To Knott's Berry Farm for some entertainment and roller coaster riding for me. The weather was great mid to upper sixties during the day and low 50's at night. This is a great time of the year to visit California and the parks cause the kids are still in school and the parks are not as crowded, the economy is also a factor this year.

We road the Train and Stage Coach around the park. It was a very relaxing day.

Delaney Baptism

At the Church

On Saturday Delaney was Baptized at the same church that Andrea and Chris were married at. As usual it was another wonderful day in California. She was such a good girl during the service.

The Celebration

After the baptism everyone gathered at Bill and Mary Ann's place for some partying, lunch and conversation and also to watch the NFL Draft on and off during the day. All the kids seemed to have a good time.
