Weekend Field Trip

Since the Holidays this blog record has been very very quite. Dorothy and I are patiently, well maybe not so patiently, anticipating the arrival of 3 more Grandchildren, but up until recently the weather has kept us pretty cooped up. The West Coast arrival is due soon and then in April we will be headed that way to check HIM out. Then in June the East coast gets a trip to visit the residence there in NY and DC. The later will be showing off our newest set of Granddaughter's when we get there in June. So it looks like this blog will get more and more exciting. i know these proud grand parents will probably burn up the memory cards on the digital camera.

We did have one recent trip as the weather began to change and that was to Elgin Illinois to the Hemmens Center to attend a concert put on by the Glenn Miller Orchestra. I know they aren't the Jonahs Brothers or or anything hip today but they were and still are what real good music is all about.

Having said that i enclose this clip for all those that can really enjoy the greatest music of OUR time.

Got a call from Andrea on the 15th, Sunday afternoon, stating that her water had broken, so it won't be long before HE joins our family. All the waiting will soon come to an end.
